On Friday last week we had Family Fun Day. Family Fun Day is when you and your family can come to school for a day full of fun! It is usually held annually at our school (other than good old 2020) The way it works is you get into one of four house groups; Kea (my house) Tui, Ruru or Pukeko. Then you rotate around different activities. The activities were Slip & Slide, Pool, Bouncy castle as well as the Inflatable water slide, and wheel zones. That is the order Kea went in. The bouncy castle was an obstacle race. Then the waterslide was a bouncy castle with a pool of water at the end. It was exhilarating. For the wheels zones. Then finally we split into two groups within our house group. One group would go to the pool first and one to the slip & slide first. My group (Kea) went to the slip & slide first, then the pool. It was really really fun. Our school was also fundraising for school camp later in the year. We made over $1,000 dollars from the bake sale and environmental group stall. Family Fun Day is very exhausting. Do you have family fun day at your school? Below is a photo of Kea.

🌊Tsunami/Water surge!
🌊Tsunami/water surge
Kia ora Yawi Bloggers, Today I am going to be talking about the tsunami warning that happened last freaky/fancy Friday. So on Friday it was like a regular day when 'beep beep' my alarm clock went off so then I got ready for the Fancy Friday and wore a suit and then joined the meet. So then when I joined the meet we were handing out merit certificates and I was excited because I got a merit certificate. After they called out my certificate they called out my classmates from other classes. So then after that we did our Duffy certificates and Jaycee and Mason and Ibrahim. We gave them a paki paki which was called a big clap. After that we played a memory game and we had to say in the chat was was missing from the picture and some of us got it right and some of us did not. After we did the memorise game we all left the meets to watch the news, and for the record I was doing my homework and I finished my homework and went back to sleep.
Suddenly the alarm system went off and I was wondering why my alarm a clock was ringing but actually it was the tsunami warning. So then I woke up quickly and grabbed the bags from the attic and left to go in the car. We suddenly got to a stop at one tree hill and we had to stay there for a while and go home. At the end of the day I was feeling quite happy because we got through the tsunami quickly, and that was our whole amazing/freaky/ fancy Friday.
