today I am blogging about my Lockdown Highlights slideshow. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about I will explain. Basically some of our tasks are on collective slideshows, slideshows that everyone in the syndacite work on. Some of these are Posters, Stuff in your garden, Drawing and more! I put all of the collective slideshow I did work on in my Lockown Highlights slideshow. My favourite part was adding everything in. Below the text is the slideshow

 For my holiday I went for CAR HUNTING! We were looking for a good suv 

 for my family which did not turn out great, so first we viewed a car in Mount

 Wellington and there cars were really neat! The next dealer we looked was 

 North Shore and there cars were quite intresting, so the first car we looked at 

 started up and sounded like a lawn mower so then we left that car dealer. Then

 after that we went to the BBQ at my cousins house techinaclly my uncles 75th 

 birthday we had some cool sea food and some taro with. Some Potato salad and

 just fresh salad which was intresting for my taste but it was amazing because it 

 was healthy. How about your Holiday? Was your Holiday good?

                       Writing about a disgusting sandwich🥪

Kia ora everyone. Today I am going to be blogging about my favorite piece of writing about a disgusting sandwich. Since we are in lockdown we get online tasks to do. We get reading, writing, and maths. We also get some other fun tasks to do. For our writing we had to write about a disgusting sandwich on earth. I did a really smelly sandwich and it sounded really disgusting. I really enjoyed writing about the disgusting sandwich because it gave us a idea of how to write a recipe for others to follow. The proccess of me learning it is because if I had to write a recipe that I had to share that it means others should follow it and know what to do and do the right thing.

Lockdown level 4🤧

  This is unfortunate, going through the same thing? I wonder how to beat this stage? I hope that no one else got infected, I hope it was none of my friends either, I wonder if  the adult survived? ,  looks like we will have to be strong to fight virus, cause if not they will fight back, we've been through this before, we've beaten it once, we need to be healthy and wash our hands before we eat and when we go toilet . this helps from getting you infected and sick so stay healthy and stay in there believe in yourself. How have the ancient games changed to the modern!

                                                         Reading DLO

Today I am blogging about my reading DLO.We have been focusing all over about    olympics, we are focusing about the olympics because we had olympic Tokyo 2021/2020. My focusing question in reading is "How have the ancient game changed back to the modern" and I have been doing some research and I have found out that. In the Ancient Games of the Olympics they did not have medals to congratuate the players from the games.

What they did was that they had a wreath of leaves to give to the players and the heros that game back, I have also found out that the medals that have been won in New Zealand. It was more than the medasl we have ever got 7 gold 6 silvers and 7 bronze so the total would be 20. I really liked making the DLO's because you got to pick anything to do your DLO on like goggle slideshow, Book creator, poster anything you could think of. I have learn't lots from My DLO and the all the facts that were on our site that really helped make my DLO grow lots. Have you done any DLO's or have done focusing questions?

Procedural-Writing

Today we have been doing Prodecural writing about cultural games, which is traditional games that have been played around the world🌍. Or have been played recently. The prodcedure writing I have been focusing on is Ulu-Maika, have you heard of Ulu maika?? Ulu Maika is one of the games that is traditionally played in hawaii the aim of the game is try to make your group win.

How to play the game: First you have to have a lei, coconuts, a small area of the field, stakes that dick into the ground, so you have to stand and then you have to roll the coconuts through the "Gateway Of Havaki" and whover rolls the farthest they win or score a point for their team and thats how you play havaiki.

STEM Waikowhai student led toolkits!!

Last week we had our STEM Toolkit which stands for science, Technology, engineering, and mathematics and that was what STEM meant.

There were 24 presenters and 12 toolkits and we had to fill in a goggle form to know which toolkits we were going to be a signed in those 12 toolkits were Drones, Sphero, and Music lab, Webcam toy, Word art, Book creator, Goggle maps Slide animation, MakeyMakey, Piskel Brain box and last but not least Incredibox. All of those were the toolkits that people had to film in and choose on the goggle form.

One of the toolkits I went to goggle slide animation which you can animate the object that you want to move or make it walk for the first few hours of Goggle slide animation I made a car hit a house which was very cool and fun at the same time we all got to cast up our animation project that we did for the toolkit.

The next toolkit I did was Piskel which was a bit like pixel art but the pixels are more smaller the Piskel art taught me how to draw in pixels and for my Piskel art I did a animation as well but you had to add layers to it to make the animation.

                                                                                                                                                             The last toolkit I did was incredibox which you can play music but you have to drag it onto one of the shirtless men and it will make a beat then you can start adding others and it will sound nice we also got to cast up our beats in this one to but I did not want to.

           

                   All thought I thought this was fun and I wish I could do this again.
